Common questions about Label Lens, and how to reach us.
Point your camera at a barcode or ingredient label. Label Lens looks up the product and checks its ingredients against our risk database, then gives you a clear Avoid, Caution, or Clean verdict.
Product and nutrition data comes from Open Food Facts, a free, open grocery database. Ingredient risk flags are researched by us, based on FDA actions, international bans, and published studies โ each one includes a plain-language reason.
Open Food Facts is community-maintained and doesn't have every product yet. Try one of the demo products on the Scan tab, or switch to Label Photo mode (Pro) to scan the ingredient list directly.
In the app, go to Settings โ Manage subscription, or on your iPhone go to Settings โ [your name] โ Subscriptions โ Label Lens โ Cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before your trial ends to avoid being charged.
Try Restore Purchases in the app's Settings screen โ it re-syncs your subscription status with the App Store. This also helps after reinstalling the app or switching devices.
